Everyone needs a little break from the madness that we call life. Between matchmaking, movie making, TV filming and Sin Halo raising, we know all too well about needing some serious R&R! For most people, it’s tough to get away for a long period of time — not to mention the tons of cash it takes. With a schedule that is all over the map, it’s hard for us, too! So we like to go on staycations where we get away while staying close to home.

Every staycation can be as easy breezy or extravagant as you like… or can afford. Here are some great ideas that Destin and I have done in the past.

Let’s talk about why we’re all here. The internet is the gateway to everything… including love. Yes, it is possible to find love online. The statistics aren’t lying. It happened for us and it can happen for you. We met on Myspace way back in 2005. It started out as a great friendship and blossomed into what it is now a marriage and a Sin Halo!

Yes, you will still meet a whole lot of toads and crazy cat ladies, but, as we always say, you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you meet your prince charming.

So, you’re a few months into the relationship and you’ve noticed that the heat and passion may have slightly fizzled. Ladies, keep your dress or skirt to no more than an inch or two above the knee; keep him curious. Show a little cleavage, but don’t release the twins. And don’t walk out looking like you just robbed Tiffany’s — when it comes to jewelry, a little shine goes a long way.

Paddle balls: Breaking up and making up

Back and forth. Back and forth. The never-ending cycle of breaking up and making up and breaking up again is almost always a bad idea. Here’s the thing and the rule of thumb — there’s a reason why you broke up in the first place. Why would you want to go back?

Fellas: No matter how great the sex was, is it worth the drama? Ladies: No matter how much you don’t want to be alone, do you really want the zero over the future hero?
