There’s trouble in the Twilight zone! This morning K. Stew was accused of cheating on her long time boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, after pictures surfaced of her and her director from Snow White and the Huntsman. The media is quick to get a hold of these scandals and ruin what hope is left for the couple to work it out with some dose of sanity. Read more for my thoughts on infidelity and how everyone’s favorite vampire couple can get back on track.
First off, I love that Kristen Stewart apologized publicly to Robert Pattinson and admitted the truth. The fact that she’s severely sorry may mean that this relationship is open to repair and she seems to be coming from a genuine place.
Kristen’s apology
“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” Kristen said to People.com. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob,” Kristen continued.
And the facts?
Over 50 percent of relationships can survive an affair. My advice is to get into counseling quickly before the media digs up untruthful dirt and then this vampy pair may have a real chance.
Kristin has always been good at turning her cheek to the media. Let’s hope that R. Patz can do the same in order to keep calm as the media twists this story into total relationship chaos.

I agree! It sucks this happens, but no one is perfect. I fear they may not survive, just from being in the spot light and the attention it will bring regardless, but if they do, that means they are a strong couple. I also think that since there was no talk of marriage, this might be the be all end all, like, they either stay together and get married, or part ways. Why stick around now if there isn’t marriage in their future?

Am I not wrong in saying that although it came to light that she made out with this man, it was released that they never had sex…..not that this condones in any case what she did, but it should be easier to recover from.

They,Bella and Edward, are story characters but Robert and Kristen are real, young people who will probably fall in love a few more times in their young lives before they really find out what its all about. Drop the cow, Ed. I worked four years as a bouncer surrounded by drunken girls looking for action. At 29-years-old, I’ve never once cheated on a girlfriend despite ample opportunity. There are honest men and women out there, but finding them is the hard part. Clearly this one was a miss. Get back out there.
Precisely the point is there are honest men and honest women….yes, people make mistakes but usually the one whom makes the mistake will again return to the same situation and repeat the dishonest act again….Move on Mr. P and look for a honest individual worthy of your honest love.
It is difficult for an average couple to recover from a cheating scandal. For a celebrity couple, whose every move is under the magnifying glass, that difficulty is compounded.
If they are to be successful, it will take commitment and honesty from both sides. At 22, Stewart may not be capable of giving this, and Pattinson may not be interested in rebuilding trust. Only time will tell.

I am real sure in Eclipse Bella kissed Jacob and told him she loved him. If you live your life by Twilight then you realize that even in twilight relationship has problems and sometimes you love someone more than another but S#!t happens and was it not Edward who knew that Bella kissed Jacob but also knew without reading her thoughts she loved him. Even Twilight showed that relationships are work and love is not always easy. We were talking about 18 year olds in the movie. When you are young we make mistakes some we can work through others we cannot. Do not live your life by a movie or a Book live your life as it comes and you will find even with those you love sometimes you make mistakes do you forgive a one time mistake or do you move on to each his own is the rule of the world.

what she did was wrong and unforgiveable, rob gave her his hart and she brike it in amillion pices, he trusted her ,he loved her and she throw it back at him.by being in the arms of an older man that they both knew. she betrayed him. he doesn’t trust her and i don’t think he ever will trust her like he did befor.so if they do get back together it wont be the same . she has a long way to go to earn his trust again and that of his parent.

I think they can work it out…I’ve seen so much more worse situations. Kristen only kissed the guy, correct?? I think if Rob truly loves her…he can get past this. Love conquers all right? They and their characters are what introduced me to love..to believe in it and that electric feeling. I grew up with these people and they’re characters. (My whole teenage years..) they’ve become apart of me. If they actually break up for good…I will be truly devastated.

Kristen and Robert are real, young people. Edward and Bella are figments of someone’s imagination(although their love story did make this grandmother’s heart go pitter, patter)but if they really are in love I wish them well. But its my guess that neither one is ready to settle down to one person yet. Youth is very fickle. There is too much fun out there to be had yet with too many different people.
Mistake? Does anyone know what a mistake actually is? No? Well, a mistake is something that someone makes without conscientiously knowing whether it’s right or wrong. An oops as others would call it. Something that is done without thought or knowledge of consequences. KStew is a big girl now, some may even consider her an adult. It is my understanding that since she is considered an adult, that she knew what she did was wrong and that given the type of apology she presented she conscientiously knew exactly what she was doing. This is definitely NOT a mistake! She definitely was fully aware of what she was doing and the consequences to her actions should she ever get caught!

Rob if you truly love her you will listen to what she has to say and go from there. Don’t listen to what everyone is saying because this will eat @ you and get in the way of you two beautiful people working it out. When I watch any if your Twilight movies (which is almost everyday) the way Kristen looks at you is not an act. Relationships aren’t without trials. I have been married for 47 yrs. and a lot of ups and downs. I hope and pray you work it out.
Stop asking Rob if he loves Kristen. We all know the answer is YES, and he demonstrated that by being faithful to her. Kristen does not love Robert. I think he sees that clearly now. Also, after all of this, I remember an interview with her and how she said that the role of Bella Swan was “offered” to her. I always found that peculiar. That was back in ‘o8 or ‘o9. Why would they have offered “her” such a plum role back then, when she has to sleep with directors to get work today? Kristen is on the Casting Couch.
Everybody sees it now. All questions have been answered. Why sleep with her director, Sanders? To try to get the SWATH role. They could get over this, if they really love each other. She was emotionally unfaithful, which could have been a first step towards an affair or not. They could recincile, in theory, and if the situation was reversed, I am sure that they would be together in no time.
HOWEVER, I don’t think they will reconcile, because I doubt Pattinson would be willing to firgive and forget. He is a guy, and that says all. A woman is more likely to forgive an emotional infidelity than a man, and that is a fact. And then, there is also the added issue of it becoming public. If Kristen had not tried to mend things issueing a public apologin, and if she had behaved as practised cheaters do (lie and deny through your teeth, no matter how many proof is out there), she could still have a chance. But acting out as a young girl wanting to be forgiven by the man she loved, she made matters worse for her. No typical male forgives public humiliation. Men are too proud for that. They would choose pride over love any day of the week.
Bottom line, I think they are over for good, unless Pattinson loves her more than I believe he does. I honestly believe that cheating is not in her personality, or she would have never be stupid enough to release that apology. In the end, it all depends on how much he loves her. If he truly does, they will become stronger than ever, but I really doubt he does.
I really love this couple and I know Rob must be pretty shattered now but he has to forgive her and take her back. We all go astray once in a while, nobody is perfect. I wish I could see Rob and talk to him personally. I loved them a lot since watching Twilight, they really inspired me. Rob if you are reading this please don’t let media gossips and paparazis make you do what you may later regret. I love y’all, you gotta learn to let go please.

They are both young and relationships heat and die out all the time. The fact that these two got 2gether because of Twilight, doesn’t make for a lasting relationship. How many celebs have gone on to have relationships with their co stars. Majority don’t last, and I don’t think this won will either.
I think they should move on. Kristen proved she’s not ready to settle. Whatever happened to make her cheat is anyone’s guess. She seems more willing to take risks in the relationship, where Rob I think is more grounded.

Thank you, I completely agree. They never really admitted they were even together until this whole situation happened. I honestly don’t think they ever were together, but if kids who adore these two characters and think their ever lasting love on ‘Twilight’ is how they truly are in real life finds out It’s all for publicity and It’s what made them the highest and one of the highest paid actor and actress on tv the die hard teenage fans won’t take it well. Maybe Kristen figured the ‘Twilights’ were basically over and she did not expect the situation to blow up publicity wise like it did.

I am very disappointed in you. I watch “Millionaire Matchmaker” and I know that the first rule for you is fidelity and commitment before sex. That you would excuse Kristen’s infidelity shows only hypocrisy on your part. I don’t think I’ll be watching your program any longer. It’s my belief that you should not hold only a “certain” kind of person to a set of rules while allowing someone else to be duplicitous and say you “love” her public apology. What else was she going to do? She has a publicist who, I AM SURE advised her to do so. There was a last movie from that franchise due and she had to smooth things over.
That said, I’m not invested in whether they stay together or not but I did like your no-nonsense stance on your show and now it just looks like a cheap show considering you “love” Kristen’s public apology.
