Picking the perfect date spot is a lot of pressure. Here’s the thing though, the spot is such a small percentage of what makes a date magical. It’s way more about your chemistry. So you shouldn’t stress at all about the place. And to help you not stress, I’ve come up with this helpful list of general spots that exist just about everywhere in the country and make great settings for the perfect date to unfold.

A first date is full of such opportunity. An opportunity to meet someone new. An opportunity to fall in love. An opportunity to make a bad impression. Really, that’s what makes first dates so stressful — the idea that you could ruin something great by doing something super small, but super terrible. Even though dating is my business, I still get nervous for first dates for this very reason. But the truth is, that as long as you’re being yourself, there’s very little that can go wrong. Just avoid these few small things that can totally make a bad first impression.
If you have a sporty activity planned for your date, there are a lot of more flattering options available now then when I was dating Bobby! Just make sure that none of these options includes writing across your tush. Even if you have an amazing one, no one needs to know how “Juicy” it is. And we’re all familiar with the stone-washed, loose fitting, tapered, high-waisted denim nightmare that’s sole purpose is to give anyone who wears them the dreaded “mommy butt”. Just don’t do it.
No matter your body type, you should be dressing in a way that makes you feel fabulous. Because you are! As someone who’s had her fair share of body image bonkers moments, I thought I’d take some time to outline all of the tips I’ve accumulated on how to dress any body type so that you look like a million bucks and you feel like a jillion bucks!
