We are all told that if we want a great career, we have to set goals and work at it. If we want to be healthy and fit, we have to eat consciously and be purposeful about it. Yet regarding the most important aspect of it all — love — we are constantly sold a ridiculous myth that it will all fall into place, accidentally and magically.
The next season of Millionaire Matchmaker is mostly about my journey to adopt a child, but I’ve also started dating again. My mother finally said to me, “Why aren’t you using your book?” I was hesitant to think it would work for me, because of being in the media but I had to take step back, just be me and take my own advice. So, I turned to Become Your Own Matchmaker, went through a dating detox and got off the grid for a while. I slowly started to join dating sites and then I met David. He makes my toes curl and I’ve never met a sweeter guy in my life.
Patti has been a part of our lives for nearly ten years now. She is a friend, a confidant and, honestly, family. We love her to death and we want nothing but magic and happiness for her. We wish Patti a very special happy birthday with all the love in our hearts. Big kiss and tequila shots on us!

Being on television and coping with the criticism that comes with fame and recognition is hard. New attention can change people and even the strongest couples can suffer. In fact, the upcoming season of Millionaire Matchmaker has turned the tables on me as I look for my own man and try not to let the cameras get the best of my potential relationships.
